We source directly from farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Guatemala. Small batches, roasted every Tuesday, shipped every Wednesday. Your beans are never more than a few days old.
We started Kōwhai because we were tired of stale supermarket coffee pretending to be specialty. So we built a roastery, partnered with farmers we trust, and now we pour the same coffee we roast — right here in Ponsonby.
